Thank You for Making Our Winter Clothing Drive and Holiday Hampers a Success!

Dear Birch Cliff Families,

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible support and generosity from our community during our winter clothing drive and holiday hamper initiative. Thanks to all of you, this year was truly extraordinary!

✨ Highlights of this amazing effort include:

  • The Birch Cliff Dads and Friends fundraiser raised over $3,000, allowing us to provide gift cards for each family.
  • Alia Anderson (mom of three at our school) funded toiletries and donated $300.
  • Lindsay Belyea generously donated a brand-new bed and mattress for a family.
  • Janet Stokes contributed toys for the hampers.
  • Kim Corby (a Birch Cliff Community Member) donated $50.
  • Many parents and anonymous donors dropped items under the Christmas tree in the foyer.
  • Our Student Council members and friends dedicated countless hours sorting, folding, organizing clothing, boxing food, and volunteering at the “Pay What You Can” event. They made this initiative possible—thank you, Birch Cliff students!

Additionally, Corbin’s Catering and Foods provided beautiful Christmas dinners with all the trimmings, including desserts and festive napkins, to families. They’re now promoting their Valentine’s Day menu—please check it out to support them in return!

We’re thrilled to share that we helped 19 families through the holiday hampers and reached hundreds more with the clothing and food drive. Hearing the stories from these families and knowing we brought smiles to their faces was truly life-changing.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and supported this initiative. Your kindness and compassion are what make our community so special.

Last but not least, the Birch Cliff SAC would like to acknowledge and thank Kayla Nugent.
Kayla offered so much time and effort with this event.
This generosity of time and effort led to a massively successful community event.
Thank You Kayla!

With Gratitude,
The Birch Cliff Parent Council
