Parent Council Meeting – Virtual Access (Trial Run!)

We’re trying something new!

As a trial, we’re offering a virtual option for tomorrow’s Parent Council meeting. 🎉
We know this won’t be perfect and there may be a few bumps along the way—thanks in advance for your patience and sense of humour as we give this a go!

A waiting room will be enabled. No passcode required.
The meeting starts at 6:00 PM.

📌 What to know if you’re joining virtually:

• When logging in, please change your display name to include your name + your child’s teacher’s name (e.g. Jamie Lee – Ms. Smith).
• The physical meeting room will not have video, but we’ll have a central microphone in place so you can hear what’s happening. We’ll see how well this setup works and make adjustments for the future if needed.
• If you have questions or comments during the meeting, we’ll be using the chat function to collect and flag them.
  A moderator in the room will share your questions on your behalf.
• If anyone is presenting or sharing a report, we’ve asked them to send materials in advance so we can screen share for those attending virtually.

This is a first step to see what we might need to do to make virtual attendance a regular, smoother option in the new school year.
